What if I try your system and find it doesn't work into my lifestyle?

Our computer records clearly show, we satisfy an astounding 99.92%. The statistics were compiled from our client files, and represent histories of men and women, just like you, who entrust us with their personal appearance. With positive results like these we can easily afford to extend the most comprehensive guarantee in the business. We offer a full 30-day money back guarantee (as explained in our contract). All you have to do is try our system for a full 30-day period.

I heard from several companies that synthetic fiber is better than human hair, yet HRC claims human hair is the best. Which is really better?

As in any business, everyone wishes to portray their process as being the best. At HRC, our over 39 years of experience and large R & D budget combine to help us master the art of purchasing, processing, and preserving real human hair. It also helps that we are big enough to inventory vast supplies of European quality hair to insure a perfect match in color (including highlights), sheen, denier, and wave pattern. While using less expensive and more readily available synthetics alleviate the need for large inventories, the look and feel of natural hair compels us to go that extra yard to insure client satisfaction. The only time synthetic has an edge over human hair is in a tropical environment or when quality human hair cannot be obtained.

How much will it cost?

The price of your hair replacement will depend on the size of your balding or thinning area, the type, color, and texture of your remaining hair, etc. There are too many variables to give an accurate price, but the average replacement sells for between $2,000 and $3,000. U.S. dollars.

Can I go to my neighborhood barber or hairstylist?

If you prefer a very short, close look, you may wish to have your hair cut more often then your periodic (4-8 week) visit to HRC. We only ask that you explain to your barber/stylist that you're using our system and he/she should not cut the system hair. However, the great majority of our clients do not find any additional hair cutting necessary.

Will wearing a system have a detrimental effect on my remaining hair?

With the exception of hair weaving and the use of some adhesives not approved for use on skin, the answer is definitely no. Hair weaves pull hair to the point of creating chronic traction on the hair as do hair extensions, eventually causing first temporary, then permanent hair loss. The use of caustic, non-professional adhesives can eventually burn the hair follicle as electrolysis does when permanently removing hair. At HRC, we use only professional skin and hair compatible materials.

Can someone really run their fingers through my hair without feeling anything?

Certainly. At HRC, some of our clients are married or involved in long term relationships while others enjoy the single lifestyle with plenty of dating and partying. Each has learned not to be concerned about detection under any circumstance. They entrust their personal appearance to us because they have learned that HRC uses only the least obtrusive, yet durable, materials in creating a system just for them.

Maybe it looks great at first, but how long will it keep looking good?

The system we offer today not only has a much more believable, natural look then any system made in the past, it also is designed to look better, longer. Human hair, which I hope you agree is the best material available for this task, does not last indefinitely. The cuticle of the hair is eroded each time you brush, blow dry, wash, or scratch your head. It is further eroded while your head is resting on the pillow at night. When your hair was growing you would see split ends developing, usually when your hair was long. They were taken care of with a haircut that removed the oldest part of the hair shaft. Your new hair doesn't grow. All the same actors are at work so split ends will eventually develop. We will subject your new hair to a deep penetrating conditioner in the course of a regular visit, but eventually hair will wear out. One of the signs of wear is color change. We have mastered the art of hair re-coloration, using gentle formulas that do not further erode the hair shaft. We are so sure of our product and ability to cope with any situation; we guarantee the color and volume of hair for a full year.

Can I really participate in sports?

What about heavy contact sports? With our exclusive breathable liquid skin adherent you can participate in any and all sport activities without worry. There is no chance of embarrassment even while water skiing, bungee jumping, or wearing any type of protective helmet.

Will it hurt or be uncomfortable?

Definitely not. Our procedure has been developed through our ongoing research and development for the past 39+ years. Our new ionization procedures when combined with our custom designed and created Folligraft 3.1 graft is the closest thing to instant gratification you could hope for. Unlike surgery, there's no pain, scarring, or hoping it will grow in some day. The great majority of our clients become 100% comfortable with our system within 3 to 4 hours. Even those with very sensitive skin feel nothing at all beyond 36 hours. Once our client has the graft for a few hours it becomes his or her hair, hair to be washed, styled, and enjoyed 24 hours a day.

Since I became interested in hair replacement I can spot one from across the street. Can't other people see that I have one?

This is the FAQ of FAQ's. Honestly speaking, if (and the key word here is if) a realistic amount of hair is added, if the hair used is a perfect duplicate of your own, as explained in taking a sample and matching color and sheen, if you are marginally adept at styling your hair and engage in sound personal hygiene, no one, not even the people in your office, classroom, or living next door need know what you have done. Many of our clients initially express the same fears. Once they saw how great their hair looked and how natural it felt and reacted to the elements, they began to understand the number one rule of hair replacement. “You only see the bad ones”. Now they wonder how many of their friends and associates apparently great heads of natural hair are in fact HRC members fooling everyone.

How long is the lead time from the first visit to the time the hair is grafted?

Usually 6 to 8 weeks.

How many hours does the process take?

About 1.5 to 2 hours.

Does the membrane need to be replaced, modified, reseated? If so, is there an additional charge for this?

As with most of the better things in life "Folligraft 3.1" isn't cheap. The graft breaks down and must be replaced periodically. I guarantee the procedure for a full year however.

I color my hair every 3-4 months to remove some gray stragglers - how does this affect your system? Can I still do this, or do your people take care of this as well?

You could continue or allow us to color your hair. Many of our clients are so pleased with their new more youthful appearance they no longer feel the need to color a few grays.

If I am not comfortable with the membrane, can it be removed, and if so, what are the negative impacts of having it removed?

There are no negative "side effects" to our Folligraft 3.1 procedure. You can stop when and if you wish.

How do I go about selecting a "new" hairstyle?

The way anyone does. Once we fill in the blanks and you have a fuller head of hair we work together to style your hair in a way that complements your life style and flatters your facial features.

Are there any other incidental costs I should be aware of - for example, if the spot gets bigger over time?

The initial “graft” usually runs between $2,000 and $3,000. Subsequent “grafts” will cost much less (not more even if the area gets larger). You will also come to us for your haircutting /styling needs. A periodic haircut, including service to the “graft” runs a little more than a good haircut.

How many of these have you done at your facility?

Since HRC's inception, we have helped thousands of individuals.

Are the after photos of HRC's web site and printed material of your average client?

Absolutely! HRC supplies each and every client the raw material he or she needs to look 100% natural in any situation.
